I wanted to thank you again so much for your hospitality. The frittata was the best I ever had (and I am, at times a professional cook myself). Take care, we hope to see you again very soon.

I can’t thank you enough for the wonderfully friendly ( and tasty) hospitality last weekend. It was such a great get-a-way for us, peaceful & relaxed but with that added benefit of some great mushroom experiences.

“At delightful Shelburne Inn a pot of coffee was placed before us the moment we were seated for breakfast, and seconds later a basket of muffins enriched with coconut, carrot, and apple arrived. Breakfast is serious business here, and for our entrees we had chosen a chanterelle omelet made with Parmesan, red onion, and Swiss chard and a fine crisp corn, bacon and spinach frittata. Built in 1896, the Shelburne Inn serves breakfast in the comfortable Victorian lobby with its long oval table. Handmade quilts decorate the wallsgiving the place a sort of New England charmand cover the beds in thoughtfully furnished rooms, most of which have private decks.” Mimi Elder for Gourmet 8/1988
